Brian Myslinski, 31, of Levittown, PA, surrendered Tuesday, Jan. 17 at the Prosecutor’s Office in Mount Holly, said Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw.
The investigation revealed that Myslinski used more than $120,000 of the proceeds from the illegal sales to cover sports gambling debts, and also spent $50,000 on a 1974 Dodge Charger classic car, $20,000 on another vehicle, funded a vacation to Jamaica, and bought Gucci and Louis Vuitton handbags and purses, among other high-end items, Bradshaw said.
Myslinski was charged with financial facilitation of criminal activity elements of computer theft, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and misapplication of entrusted property, according to Bradshaw.
The investigation began after the BCPO Financial Crimes Unit was contacted by representatives of Radwell International with allegations that a former employee had conducted a theft and fencing operation while working at the company during 2021, the prosecutor said.
According to its website, “Radwell International stocks and sells new and surplus Industrial Automation, MRO, Pneumatic, Motion, Electronic, Hydraulic, HVAC and Electrical Control Equipment for plant floor and facilities maintenance machinery.”
The investigation revealed that Myslinski, a supervisor, used his knowledge of and access to the company’s internal systems to steal $866,834 worth of specialized merchandise, which he then sold directly to customers as well as through online platforms such as eBay, Bradshaw said.
The investigation was conducted by the BCPO Financial Crimes Unit. The lead investigator was BCPO Detective Troy Sudeck. Myslinski will be prosecuted by Assistant Prosecutor Andrew McDonnell, supervisor of the BCPO Financial Crimes Unit.
